A beautiful and authentic Sicilian agriturismo with wonderful hospitality, peaceful surroundings and a very personal tou
We had a truly lovely stay. The property has a beautiful, authentic agriturismo atmosphere — peaceful, charming and surrounded by wonderful countryside, with views that almost reminded us of Tuscany. Everything was very clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive. Every day he gave us helpful tips and recommendations about places to visit in the area, which made exploring this part of Sicily much easier and more enjoyable. Breakfast was freshly prepared for us every morning according to our wishes, and we could choose something different each day. We really appreciated the personal touch and the feeling that the hosts genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. The property also has a lovely swimming pool, as well as additional facilities such as a sauna and jacuzzi for those who would like to use them. What made the experience even more special was being shown around the property and learning about their vineyard, grape harvesting and their own olive oil production. It gave us a wonderful glimpse into local Sicilian country life and made the stay feel much more personal and authentic.
The property is located a little away from the main tourist towns and attractions, so having a car is definitely recommended. For us, however, this was not really a problem. With a car, it was easy to make day trips to places such as Trapani, Erice and other attractions in western Sicily, even if some of them were around an hour's drive away. The peaceful countryside location is also very much part of the charm of staying here.

We liked the location and views. The owner was so helpful. Baglio itself is beautiful and the room very spacious.
