  Une Masseria loin de tout, presqu'un monastère, un séjour idéal pour une retraite de ce monde...

  C'est une sorte de grande ferme perdue sur un immense terrain privé. Le Baron Filippo de Raho vous accueille brièvement dans son paradis. L'ambiance est presque monastique. Pas d'animaux, pas de bruit, ciel bleu, des allées de pins, une grande belle piscine, une décoration austère de l'époque, un petit déjeuner austère aussi. Le personnel est peu visible, la réception non occupée, dans les villages autour pas d'animation, des chasseurs les week-ends, une Micheline locale passe 5 fois par jour, c'est le bout du monde. Les chambres sont belles et dans le style, bien climatisées et avec une bonne literie. Tout est super propre et le personnel - si présent - est très souriant et agréable. Nous avons passés trois jours dans cette hacienda et nous l'avons adoré!

  Il faut savoir ce qu'on recherche. On vous laisse seul, et pour beaucoup, c'est ça le luxe. Le dîner proposé à certains soirs est correct, mais il sort du cadre habituel. Nous l'avons essayé une fois. Pour le "monastère" rien à dire, tout est parfait.

  Fijn en rustig verblijf in een mooie authentieke Masseria.

  Mooie authentieke accommodatie. De ontvangst was persoonlijk en vriendelijk. Het is aan te raden een appartement in de oorspronkelijke Masseria te boeken. Gelukkig hebben wij ter plaatse mogen omboeken. Het appartement was werkelijk prachtig en zeer ruim en voorzien van een bubbelbad. De bedden waren goed, heerlijk geslapen. Lekker ontbijt met vers fruit en goed restaurant. De accommodatie ligt afgelegen maar dat heeft juist charme. Lecce is goed bereikbaar mits je over een auto beschikt. Vriendelijk personeel en een mooi landgoed. Er was een mooi zwembad met ligstoelen.

  A perfect place for a relaxing holiday and location was excellent for sights of Puglia.

  What we loved most was the tranquillity and the lovely home-from-home feel. The staff were wonderful, from the breakfast team to the cleaning staff, and Phillipo was incredibly helpful, organising our car hire and taking care of every detail. We arrived late on our first night and were delighted to find snacks and wine waiting in our room—a thoughtful welcome. Our room was comfortable, the shower room and shower were excellent, and the hot tub was a lovely extra. The pool was peaceful and quiet, and we felt so at home that it almost seemed like our own private retreat. We would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily return.

  There was nothing to dislike. If we could suggest one addition, a bar area where guests could sit and enjoy an aperitivo would make perfect. Perhaps a pizza oven too, for those evenings when we would have liked a more relaxed dinner.
