A little disappointing
We felt the Name did not reflect the property. Mata Au River Sanctuary. We were jammed up with houses within inches of ours either side and cars everywhere. Nothing wrong with the property, cleanliness, comfort etc and this may be reflective of accommodation in Wanaka. But we paid $1900 for 4 nights One thing they do need is a decent frying pan.

Ski Accomadation
It was clean, tidy and comfortable. Once we got the firewood dried out it was easy to keep the lounge warm, and the heatpump warmed the rest of the house. All in all we had a delightful stay.
It was difficult to dry ski gear at the end of the day, and being a ski holiday this did become a bit frustrating. Having wet firewood made it difficult to keep the lounge warm. Once we had dried the wood out we were fine.

Absolutely wonderful we loved our stay.
Beautiful new and very clean house. Everything needed was there. Ecco bathroom products lovely surprise.
Very individual and only because we are oldies the couch was low and hard to sit on.

Lovely house, with everything you need. Comfy beds and heated bathroom floors were a treat. Nice little cafe eatery down
Lovely modern and spacious home equipped with everything you need!
Heat pump in the lounge as well as in hallway or a safety guard around the fireplace for children would have elevated the rating. Had to stand guard around the fireplace so the 1-year old couldn’t touch it.
