    We loved this house and really enjoyed spending the whole week in Winchelsea. We took lots of walks, along the military

    This is a beautiful historic house which is very well furnished. I was enchanted by all the paintings and prints.

    The only drawback was the amount and speed of the traffic going through this sleepy village. As the house is directly on the street it was very noticeable.

    The location of the property in a small village was very good. The cottage itself was quite twee with interesting artwork and perfectly comfortable.

    The traffic was appalling with cars going past the cottage constantly as it is on a very well used "ratrun". The windows need to be either double or triple glazed.
