  Smell of smoke and unsafe building

  Clear communication from owner, excellent restaurant/cafe just around the corner. Kitchen was well equipped just not the cleanest

  2 young women arriving at night we did not feel safe in the area and the entrance to the building which the apartment in was easy to miss and not very welcoming (as pictured). There was a very strong smell of smoke throughout the whole apartment, worst in the bedroom, and cigarette burns on the sofa. Kitchen equipment wasn’t particularly clean and there was no washing up liquid provided so we didn’t cook at all. The washing machine also made our clothes smell musty. Also there was short black hairs in the bed

  Good stay - great owners

  I like the close location to the centre and not so noisy at night. Good kitchen facility if u want to cook like we did. Own access/check in in to the flat which works great when u arrive different/late hours so u can just get in as the key is in the secure key box. Good Internet. We liked the fact that u can make the bedroom really dark (blinders plus outside and extra inside) perfect for sleeping at night or if u need nap during the day. Air-con worked fine too and I like we could pay at the property, no issues, washing machine, fridge, kettle...all basic necessary things The owners are amazing. Very helpful, responsive, friendly and professional. We asked for extra pan for cooking as there were just 1 (plus saucepan) and they brought a brand new one... The check out was at 10am , the flight was at late afternoon so we asked for late check out and they allowed us to stay till 11am (only because they had to clean the room for new arrivals at 2pm so even that 1 hour gave us a bit extra to sleep and eat and get ready. Absolutely fantastic...really happy

  So the flat is at the top (5th floor) good for exercise but for someone with maybe joint, knees problems would be hard (no lift) or when u forgot something in the shop going up and down many times can be tiring lol but that's not their fault...still, it's good to know. The bad was a bit less comfortable...it looked like it was a bit tired in the middle but was still okay for sleeping Also bathroom could use some hooks for clothes/towels...they used to be bit they were snapped and not replaced....some shelves maybe to leave toiletries for 2 people (only little space around sink) But generally those are small details nothing too crazy to avoid this accommodation
