    Lovely friendly family hotel and most welcoming. Lovely spacious gardens and not overcrowded like some larger hotels e.g. sunbeds side by side with no space between. Here at Matoula they are spaced out under umbrellas around the gardens.

    The hairdryer in our room could be updated as it was wall mounted with just a pipe & nozzle which kept cutting out every time the pipe moved. Fortunately our friends were staying on another room with a proper hairdryer which I used otherwise I would never have got my hair dry. Also just a suggestion about the ground floor rooms, maybe privacy curtains at the windows would help as we had to close the main curtains everytime we were in the room to rest or change as we were overlooked. Apart from that a perfect room and stay.

    Good for a quick stay

    The staff was very nice and helpful, they also offer transfers to the city (for an extra cost) but it was very easy to book and was right on time. They were also able to arrange a taxi very early in the morning for us. It is close to the beach, lots of atv / moped rentals around and there was even a water park across the street. Not at all bad for a one night stay.

    Hotel rooms could definitely use an upgrade, they are a little run down, small and there was a smell that wasn't great when we arrived.
