Perfect choice for a family stay in lovely Stratford
Lovely house in a fantastic location, just a 10-minute from the town centre or theatre, and only about 15 minutes’ walk to Anne Hathaway’s house, which is well worth a visit. Immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for our family of five - three bedrooms upstairs plus a sofa bed in the snug, as well as a separate living space open plan to the kitchen. Always delighted when our three teens can have separate rooms without sacrificing a living space!
Tiny point but we could have done with a second key for when we did separate things.

Location was great, 15min walk to centre and river. Lots of restaurants and pubs... Take your pick.. Ghost walk was good, so was Anne Hathaways cottage which was also walking distance passing a lovely pub called The Bell which we stopped in for lunch on the way back. Cottage was comfortable, was lucky to have room with en suite, very spacious.
Went to sit outside on Saturday but the lawn was absolutely covered with wasps, there were hundreds of them, was like the grass was moving, this really needs to be addressed, could not even sit with French doors open, very disappointing, BBQ was totally out of the question. Water pressure very bad, down to a dribble at times , plus both showers kept going hot and cold. Could not get the normal TV channels to work, even with following instructions. Only 1 serving dish in the kitchen which wasn't enough when cooking for 4. Motion sensor light on landing was far too bright if you had to get up in the night

The house was lovely and very well sized and well equipped. Great location. Lovely neighbours. We really appreciated being able to book straight in after being let down elsewhere. We were in the door less than half an hour after booking. Thank you!!
