Quiet area , very peaceful..
Good location and parking was right outside the door.
It could have been cleaner. Rubbish in the bedroom bin when we arrived. I was cold at night time the heating was set for an hour at tea time and I didn’t want to mess it up. Didn’t light the log fire , no logs left so couldn’t be bothered getting all the stuff needed .. just used a throw .. Perhaps an information booklet advising places to eat and areas to visit would be handy. Eventually found a folder re tv and other appliances behind the TV.

Good Tideswell stay
Clean, with all you need for a short break. A typical small Peak District cottage in a great village.
Would benefit from a few lamps, with warm lightbulbs, the living room lamp is quite a white cool lightbulb and makes the place feel less cosy than it could be. A few logs for the fire would be welcome too, as opposed to a note as to where to buy them. Not deal breakers though - it's a great cottage
