  Nice owner, old caravans, no pool

  It was near to the sea and a couple of lovely cafes that were across the road. The owner (we think he was the owner anyway) was very nice and helpful despite not being able to communicate with us properly.

  The caravan wasn’t very clean. An older caravan from others I’ve stayed in before and this meant that it wasn’t well insulated. We had to plug all holes and gaps we could find to stop bugs getting in, but it was nearly impossible. The owner advised we put plugs in the sink and bathtub which I think helped a bit, but really we shouldn’t have had to do that in the first place. The thing that bothered us the most was the smell. The toilet had an old-poop smell to it. When flushing, I could see under the toilet and it hasn’t been cleaned, and this is where the smell was coming from. Another big factor that disappointed us was the lack of a pool. It was in the pictures, and we were directed to the hotel right next to the caravan park, so we went there and asked, and they said that the two weren’t the same company, so we couldn’t use the pool. I’m guessing in the past the hotel was relaxed and allowed people in, but they must be stricter now.
