  La villa dans laquelle nous séjournions était absolument incroyable : magnifique, spacieuse et très paisible, avec un lit extrêmement confortable et un bain gigantesque dont nous avons beaucoup profité ! Le personnel a été particulièrement attentionné tout au long de notre séjour. La cuisine était également excellente, raffinée et préparée avec beaucoup de soin. Nous avons aussi eu la chance de participer à plusieurs expériences proposées par le domaine, notamment le Kendo et l’expérience Samouraï. Nous avons adoré ces deux activités : des moments à la fois passionnants, enrichissants et très intéressants, qui nous ont permis d’en apprendre davantage sur la culture et les traditions japonaises. En bref, un superbe séjour, dépaysant et mémorable, que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

  It’s hard to do this place justice in a review. It’s a very special place that gave us experiences to remember always.

  We loved the secluded authenticity of Meihodo Manor. It’s a peaceful, restorative experience rather than a place to stay. The accommodation is like nothing we’ve experienced. It felt like we took a step back in time. There are many activities you can opt into and we appreciated the lack of pressure to upsell. We chose the samurai swordsmanship session and were blown away by the stunning dojo / outdoor setting and expert teachers. They navigated the nerves and abilities of our family (including a 12 and 14 years old) with kindness and accessible explanations. It was an amazing experience we’ll always remember. Everyone was so helpful, including coming to our rescue with jump leads when our car wouldn’t start. Can’t recommend highly enough to anyone looking to create a special moment for their trip to Japan.

  We didn’t have dinner here and if you’re planning not to, I’d recommend bringing food and snacks as the kitchens are basic and nearby restaurants aren’t open late or consistently.

  Location, peace and quiet. Amazing traditional Japanese breakfast. Can recommend to also do an activity that they offer. My boyfriend had a blast. Kind people working there. Spoke English really well. Also the accommodation was beautiful. Japanese traditional style.

  Traditionel japansk oplevelse. Ro og fred. Virkelig lækker japansk mad, og fantastiske oplevelser med te-ceremoni, kendo-træning og den fulde samurai oplevelse. Hvis du ønsker at opleve det autentiske “gamle” Japan, så kan dette sted ikke anbefales nok!

  Vi kan ikke finde på noget at sige. Vi fik det vi kom efter - ro, fred, og en autentisk japansk oplevelse!
