    We stayed in a shepherds hut next to the Melfort House and haven’t been inside the actual building but the grounds are beautiful, location perfect for walks and not too far from Oban. We really liked that place

    Convenient for Oban ferry, quiet.

    Very average, the shepherds hut was poorly fitted with no thought about ventilation. Beds were too high could have been 3/4" lower. Shutters projected into bed/head space. Roller blinds would have been much better.

    Steps to door slippery and no handrail.
