    Menin Gate House is a very atmospheric place to stay, full of interesting memorabilia. We received a warm personal welcome from the host, Benoit, who kindly invited us to attend the very moving Last Post Ceremony as his guests. The prime location directly opposite the Menin Gate Memorial was ideal for our visit to the lovely historical town of Ypres and surrounding area.

    The location is fantastic for visiting both the town and the Menin Gate.

    The stairs are a little narrow, but that is to be expected in an older Belgium house.
