    Home away from home in great yet discreet company.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Merchant House and would choose it again when we are in the area. Everything was really great from the warm and sensitive welcome from Debs and Graham to the comfortable, beautiful and well appointed room and the myriad thoughtful and delightful touches all over this interesting and lovely house. The breakfast with its range of home made jams, fresh fruit salad and local artisan quality breads was really good. Simple but perfectly done.

    There really is nothing we would change.

    Great hospitality and perfect for a short visit to the area.

    Merchant House is in a lovely square of impressive houses. Arriving late at night for a flying visit I got a warm welcome, a comfortable night’s sleep and a nice breakfast. Everything I needed.
