I can't rate this place highly enough!! It was our favourite place we stayed at in Kenya. It's rustic in style more than fancy, but what sets this place above the rest is the hospitality. In particular from the owner Patrick. He was so helpful before we arrived and during our stay, it made such a big difference to our stay. He helped us arrange a driver, a boat trip, with local info and gave us packed lunches for when we visited Hells Gate. Our room was quiet and peaceful with a good/hot shower, fridge and lovely balcony. Beds were comfy. We opted to have our meals included - which was excellent value and the food was very tasty. The garden is also worth a mention - really lovely green space with hammocks and space to relax. There are 2 lovely dogs (and that's coming from not a dog person!). Patrick let us keep our room until 3pm for a late check out, with no charge, so we could just hangout in the garden - after a busy few days this was really appreciated. Thank you for everything!
Only addition that would have been nice is a safety deposit box - but the guesthouse felt very secure in general so it didn't worry me when I was there.
