Superb luxurious hotel in the thriving heart of Hanoi
There are so many choices in Hanoi but I chose Meritel due to its central location in the Old Quarter and proximity to everything the city has to offer. We selected the junior suite so we could enjoy more space as we were staying for four nights. The room was extremely clean and freshly made up every day with water and tea replenished. The bathroom was well equipped with everything you would need and expect from a 5*. Good value for the level of service, cleanliness and size of the room- we were on the 7th floor and so didn't hear the hum of the streets below. The most special thing about Meritel is the people. We were welcomed by Phoebe and made to feel like part of the family! She offered her restaurant recommendations and booked cars when needed, and always available on WhatsApp for us whenever we had questions or wanted to navigate the beautiful city. I've never experienced such attentive service, right up until our car arrived to take us to Ninh Binh. When we return to Hanoi we'll most certainly stay again at Meritel, a friendly home in the centre of an exciting and energetic city

Staff were very attentive, courteous. The welcoming briefing with fresh fruit, drink and face washer were excellent. Room spacious (upgraded) was exceptional.
I couldn't find muesli or yoghurt in the breakfast choices

Clean, safe and very good service.
Very good service by Ms phoebe. On arrival, there was a welcome drink/fruits and a staff to attend to you with a brief intro abt the hotel and surrounding. Good soundproofing. Room with internal window- no sound of horns from traffic.
Buffet breakfast was rather simple but a good fix. Gym was small but has weights and two thread mills. Basic but very clean and well-maintained.
