  A beautiful, authentic home in a great location!

  I had an amazing month and a half stay and couldn’t have asked for a better location. I specifically wanted to be just outside Paphos in a small village, and Mesogi was perfect. It's around a 10 minute drive into the centre while also being ideally located for exploring the northern side of the island. The village itself has a lovely mix of locals and expats, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and after staying for so long it genuinely feels like I've become part of the community. There's a local pub, a few cafes, and a 24 hour bakery all within walking distance. The property is a beautiful and authentic stone building. I stayed by myself but there's plenty of space for a family of four, and a cosy, secure feel. Everything was clean, well maintained and in perfect working order, with a really lovely aesthetic throughout. The host was fantastic and very accommodating. As I was staying for a longer period, they also arranged weekly cleaning for me at an additional cost. Overall, a wonderful stay from start to finish. I felt completely at home and would love to return in the winter months to experience it in a different season!

  People have previously mentioned the dogs barking next door. I did hear this, but it wasn't enough to keep me awake at night (although I do sleep with earplugs).

  Comfortable and well-equipped

  A very pleasant, comfortable and relaxing place to stay, with a mix of traditional and modern and well-equipped with all that one would need for a week. It is away from the tourist trail and close to the supermarket, bakery and a restaurant. Despite the negatives, I would certainly stay there again.

  As mentioned by other reviewers, the dogs next door are a problem, with barking in their garden at all hours (they woke us at 2.30 in the morning on one occasion) and audible even with the window shut. The enclosed garden is lovely but is dominated by the overgrown tree and direct sunlight is limited.
