  We had a lovely stay😊Emma the host was extremely helpful with our requests and sharing information about the local area.

  Michaelmas Cottage was the perfect location for us! The location is good as we prefer the quiet side of the Island. It was less than a 20min walk to our favourite bay and there were plenty of local takeaways which we enjoyed for evening meals. The cottage was beautifully themed and clean and tidy throughout. We particularly enjoyed the pool table! Everything was to hand in the kitchen and there is a lovely garden if you fancy sitting out in the evening. The cottage is a good size for a big family.

  Emma was a responsive, friendly host right from the start of our booking. Michaelmas Cottage is a lovely home from home

  Perfect location. Lovely and clean, super comfy beds, nice big bathroom, lovely big garden and cool little games room with a pool table. Kitchen well equipped with crockery, cutlery, cookware and with lots of basic necessities like teabags and cooking oil, salt and pepper available. Washing detergent and a washing machine with a nice big washing line. Just home from home!

  The location was fabulous and close to The Needles, Tapnell Farm, West Wight Alpacas and numerous bays and beaches. For our weekend with our two youbg kids this was a perfect activity filled weekend break. The property had plenty of space for our small family, a few puzzles that kept the kids entertained for the short times we were in. I really appreciated the filter coffee machine and the large american style fridge/freezer with water and ice machine - must have for the heatwave! I also felt safe as this place complied with fire safety laws with interlined smoke alarm systems, thumb turn locks to get out easily, fire doors.

  A little outdated with textured wall paper - investment had obviously gone into safety which is more important. The games room was the only place with a sofa as the living room was made up into a bedroom/kids play room, understandable as we had 2 kids so the owner probably thought we want a bedroom for each. Stairs were steep for the young kids, although this is common in older buildings.
