Thoughtful host, quiet location, noisy boiler
Kevin had thought of everything a guest might need.
The noise. The dehumidifier and boiler made noise all night long so I slept poorly, woke up every time the boiler fired up, which seemed to be hourly. It was located in the same room as this was a basement unit. Also there were no interior locks on the unit. As a woman I feel safer with locks.

Cute place in a lovely neighborhood. Home was clean and host was friendly and helpful.
No bedside table to hold water/phone.

Home away from home
Kevin, the host, met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the apartment. He grew up in the house and told us about his home. The studio apartment was fully furnished, including cold water in the small refrigerator. There was coffee and tea available in the kitchen area. The gardens were beautiful and it was enjoyable to watch the humming birds at the feeder outside the window. Kevin also recommended sites and restaurants in the immediate area to visit. A huge plus was our Shih Tzu was welcomed and allowed to stay alone for short periods of time.
The apartment was located in basement of Kevin's home and you needed to enter in through the garage. The garage was accessible via a door code; it was clean and well lit. This is no way reflective of Kevin and the apartment, but the mosquitos were horrible. When we would take our dog for a walk we were attacked by raging mosquitos. Bring your bug spray if your staying in the summer months.

Wonderful stay! Kevin is a superb host, the property was perfect for my stay.
Kevin sent me the instructions the day before arrival, and they were easy to follow. Kevin also greeted me upon arrival and made sure I knew how to access the property (and showed me around).
