    Nette aufmerksame Gastgeber, jedoch dunkles Haus ohne Aussicht auf Meer oder Berge

    Herzlicher und zuverlässiger Empfang mit einem leckeren griechischen Essen und einem frisch gebackenen Brot. Schön geschnittenes Haus, gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber.

    Leider war das Ferienhaus sehr dunkel, da auf beiden Seiten ein weiteres Haus steht und nach hinten raus ein Hang ist. Wir brauchten den ganzen Tag Licht. Ein Blick aufs Meer oder die Berge gibt es von Haus Nr. 3 nicht, man schaut nur einen grünen Baum an. Das ist nicht das, was ich im Urlaub am Meer möchte. Außerdem sind die Sitzmöglichkeiten außerhalb etwas ungleich unter den Häusern verteilt. Es gibt für die 4 Häuser nur 2 Sonnenliegen. Die Vermieter meinte, wir können uns die ja nehmen. Wir haben uns dann eine genommen, damit die neu ankommende Familie zumindest auch eine hat. Eine Sitzcouch für außen konnten wir nur deswegen benutzen, da das Nachbarhaus gerade leer stand. Ich miete ein Haus, damit ich Komfort habe, nicht dass ich wie in einem Hotel um Liegen feilschen muss. Zudem war die Matratze im Doppelbett so weich, das jede Bewegung meines Partners auch mich in Bewegung brachte, was für einen ruhigen Schlaf sehr unangenehm ist. Wir sind nach einer Nacht abgereist und haben ein Haus mieten können mit 180 Grad Meerblick, bequemen Matratzen und Liegen, das pro Nacht um ein Drittel günstiger war.

    Absolutely lovely.

    Katerina and her daughter Angela are the best hosts. They're wonderful. Katerina met us at the airport and brought us back to the villa, where she left us a lovely dinner of chicken and potatoes. Later in the week she took me to a supermarket in the capital city and waited until I was finished, then drove me home again (we hadn't hired a car ourselves and a local shop is too far to walk to, although apparently the shop will deliver). Another evening Angela gave us a lovely dinner of beef and spaghetti that she had cooked. We even met the rest of their family, and then Katerina took us back to the airport again at the end of the holiday. How lovely. As for the villa itself, it's charming and just a short walk to a great small beach down the hill. Another short walk in the opposite direction takes you to a lovely restaurant with a huge outdoor area and a lush canopy of leaves. Altogether, it was a memorable, relaxing and happy holiday. We would definitely go again.

    It would have been great if a shop had been very near, but there's not a lot that the hosts can do about that. The internet connection was poor, but Katerina says there are plans to improve it.
