    A comfortable stay with grandchildren who loved the park, bouncy castle and hot tub. Happy kids…

    The location is good, a quiet site with a play area for children and a bouncy castle which was inflated daily. The lodge was well equipped especially in the kitchen area which has been lacking in other places we’ve stayed. Being close to country, castles and coastal towns makes for an interesting stay.

    Superficially the lodge was clean, but some areas would benefit from a deep clean. The switch for the fridge/freezer was by the door and had obviously been mistaken for an outside light switch as the freezer had defrosted and refrozen many times making it difficult to use the drawers (we had freezer packs for our picnic boxes).
