    It was okay as a base, but not cosy. Would not stop here again.

    Ideal location.

    The layout of the Cottage, didn't feel cosy. Bedding not inviting. Wall in lounge badly damaged with damp issue. Front bedroom seemed Damp

    Small holiday cottage with plenty of character in beautiful part of Peak District.

    Comfortable and well-appointed cottage, kitchen was fully stocked, comfortable beds, cleanliness. Plenty of information about house and area provided by hosts. Quiet location in a small hamlet, but with plenty of things to do nearby.

    House and back garden lost the sunshine quite early on due to its low location by the small stream. House is on 3 levels which can be a bit inconvenient at times. Lowest level (kitchen) was a bit damp and chilly sometimes. The road outside was quite busy at times, considering it was a narrow country road.
