  Beautiful view

  Lovely view over the sea and bay, good sized room and excellent Wifi. I loved the balcony - the upper floors definitely have the best outlook. The staff were very sweet. There are restaurants within walking distance, but to get into Agios Nikolaos you will need a car.

  Nothing in particular, but be warned there are still mosquitos around even in October, so bring repellent and keep the windows closed at night! Parking was a bit of a mission due to the construction works.

  Spectacular views, super friendly, clean and spacious. Convenient location.

  Really stunning views from our porch and bedroom window, of sparkling sea and some mountains. Lovely garden area directly in front of our rooms with sunbeds and pretty flowers. Really enjoyed the pool. Very friendly helpful staff. Every guest was content and the whole vibe is friendly, easy to chat to people. The room was spacious with great facilities, great shower, liked the little cooker and pans as every thing worked really well The reception area had a small supply of stores like bottled water, and they were great at letting us leave our bags in reception on the last day. Lovely basket of snacks and teas on arrival. The place is a sun trap with almost its own climate, always warm and out of the wind. Liked the surrounding gardens. The local beach is Havania which is smallish but much lovelier when you're on it than it looks from the road, with a great beach bar, showers, toilets and crystal clear waters. Very easy to swim there. I also loved the view from the little hill on the right hand side- well worth strolling up. The nearest taverna is about an 8 minute walk away- there's very few in the area but this one is traditional and fantastic. 5 minutes further than that is a well stocked supermarket with great range of foods, gifts and a bakery attached. Ag Nik has so many lovely places to explore, great cafes and restaurants, shops and a huge seafront walk with lots of different views of the sea. It includes a marina, a lake with cliffs in the town centre, and two city beaches which are decent enough to enjoy. 2km from the town we discovered Almyros beach which was our favourite of the whole trip, beautiful sand, shallow clear water and a lovely relaxed vibe. 25 minutes away is the ancient city of Lato with specular ruins and breathtaking views, which you can combine with a visit/meal out in the pretty Kritsa village. Everywhere was exceptionally friendly. We loved the two cats who live on site. See pictures below Mirabella views and Havania beach

  We didn't have a hire car, and local transport wasn't great or easy to find a safe place to catch the bus without walking down the road. Walking into Agios Nikolaos takes a good 35-40 minutes and the pavement is on and off. The last bit of the walk when you reach the seafront is the best. The local bus station is difficult to reach and at the top end of the town up a huge hill, which made it off putting to use. If you hire a car though Mirabella is perfect with ample parking an on route to many places. and local taxis are easy to book. Sometimes the gardens sprinklers came on at 3am and were quite loud. We didn't find the immediate surrounding area particularly pretty, but inside the grounds really makes up for that, and again if you have a hire car it doesn't matter at all.

  Prachtige lokatie maar weinig privacy.

  Bijzonder mooi uitzicht. Heel goed zwembad met whirlpool (op temperatuur van het zwembad). Heel goede bedden. Douche werkte goed (beter dan de gemiddelde appartementen). Dicht gelegen bij de zee. Vriendelijk personeel deed regelmatig onderhoud van de kamer. Vrij goedkoop.

  Privacy: de appartementen aan het zwembad zijn veel te dicht tegen elkaar gebouwd en er is heel weinig plaats tussen terras en zwembad. Je hoort alle buren. Gelukkig waren het rustige gasten op weekdagen. In het weekend totaal geen privacy. Dit was aanvaardbaar voor ons in oktober, maar in het hoogseizoen kan dit voor problemen zorgen denken wij. Klein terras aan zuidkant gelegen zonder bescherming tegen felle zon. Geen of defecte verlichting om op het domein te komen. Kom zeker nooit 's avonds toe. Veel te weinig keukengerief.

  Sehr empfehlenswert

  So einen Meerblick hat man selten. Aber Cornelia vom Frühstücksbufett war der Hammer! Immer freundlich zu allen Gästen ,immer besorgt, dass es allen gut geht und es an Nichts fehlt. Ob es mal etwas Unbekanntes war ( Granatapfel oder frisch geröstete Kastanie ), egal, es ist nie Aufgesetzt. Es ist halt Cornelia! Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt, auch der netten Menschen wegen.
