  Disappointing stay – overpriced property with serious drawbacks

  The location is good!

  The location in the city centre is convenient, but unfortunately, this is one of the very few advantages of the property. The house is extremely noisy. There is a bar downstairs where people drink and make noise until late at night, making it difficult to sleep. The windows are old, single-glazed and poorly fitted, so street noise enters the house almost as if you were sleeping outside. The air conditioning units are very old, and the one in the living room does not cool the room at all. The house is spread over four floors connected by very steep stairs, which can be inconvenient and tiring. The ground floor is a garage, which gives the impression that arriving by car is an option. However, despite explicitly informing the host before arrival that we would be travelling by car, we were not warned that access to the property involves a restricted traffic zone (ACIRE). As a result, I have already received **five traffic fines of €90 each, totalling €450, during a seven-day stay**, simply for driving back to the property. On some days, I returned two or three times, and I am still expecting further fines. This is a very significant and entirely avoidable expense that should have been clearly explained before booking or arrival. The layout is also less convenient than it might appear. The first floor has a room converted into a bedroom, with an extremely small bathroom tucked underneath the stairs. The second floor is the living room, with ineffective air conditioning. The third floor has a bedroom with a proper bathroom, and the fourth floor is the terrace. Although the host was friendly and polite, the property feels dated and in need of substantial renovation and investment. Given the high price, poor sound insulation, inadequate air conditioning, steep stairs and, above all, the lack of clear information about the traffic restrictions, the overall experience was extremely disappointing and r

  Excellent stay very difficult to do better, almost impossible I would say

  The location was perfect, the host Jaume was excellent and really took care … amazing

  A lot of space in the old town, 2 amazing restaurants literally in the same building plus a bar next door. You are in the very heart of Palme. If you take a GPS to get there take apple maps as google maps guide you through the wrong streets 😉
