Excellent value for money
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Location is convenient. We loved our cosy room with our own washing and drying machine. Staff was very friendly. The free coffee machine and public bath were nice additions. But most important for us: it was very clean and quiet; no noise from neighbours and hardly any noise from outside.
Nothing I can think of (and I have a high standard:-))

Perfect location - fabulous hotel
The position of his hotel was superb. To all major attractions and subways close by. We had recently stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel in Kyoto and they should look up to this hotel. It must be a Sister hotel but the Giza Mitsou is far superior. This hotel had comfortable beds, washing machine in room, and an amazing breakfast, with an amazing bath house - all of which the hotel in Kyoto did not have. Highly recommend the Mituzi Garden Giza hotel.
The hotel had everything a traveller could need except on a personal note, pillows were too soft.

Great rooms, great location - would always come back
I had a fantastic stay at Mitsui Garden. The room was super spacious and I was lucky to get a great view. No nice distraction by the building next door at all. To have a washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer was super handy. location is also great right next to the Market. The private bath I used every single day and really enjoyed it after a long day of walking.
if there is any negative to say, it would be the gym. very small and not much equipment at all.

A Good Hotel with Potential
Arrived at 9:00 AM, well before the 3:00 PM check-in. The counter staff explained luggage storage. Returning at 12:30 PM, they kindly found an empty room and let me check in early, which I deeply appreciated. Because I get claustrophobic and have large bags, I purposefully paid for a double-occupancy room, even though I was alone. The desk agent noticed this and thoughtfully offered to swap my extra breakfast voucher for coffee stand tokens. Double room a little larger than normal with a well-thought-out layout, including a nice seating area. Bed comfortable,, room clean, and TV easily switched to English. Loved the breakfast buffet. Dinner the first night, however, was a letdown. I ordered lobster, pizza, and a squash dish. The squash flavor was confusing, and the lobster wasn't worth the price. The pizza and smoked flavors were good, but the meal wasn't good enough to repeat. Service was nice, but only one other table was occupied on a Friday night.
My three-week holiday in Japan was a dream, ending in Ginza. Arrival at this Mitsui was stressful. Traveling for an extended period, I had two large suitcases, a carry-on, and a purse. The hotel is on a busy corner, so my taxi dropped me on a side street where a guard rail forced an immediate stop. Unloading felt rushed amid heavy pedestrian and car traffic. Fortunately, my driver waited until I got my bags inside. The lobby is practical but highly chaotic with people waiting, checking in, and stowing luggage. My previous hotels had a doorperson to assist and offer a welcome beverage. That civilized touch makes a huge difference after a long journey. The advance online check-in kiosks save the hotel money but remove the opportunity to build a relationship, creating a generic, transactional experience. To reduce expenses, room cleaning occurs every second day. This is understandable, but common area upkeep fell short. A piece of breaded food sat on the floor of the standalone elevator for two full days, which was unpleasant to see. The night before departure, I asked to extend my checkout from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. I am currently dealing with cancer repercussions and needed a specific, calm routine to prepare for an 11-hour flight. The young lady at the desk—whom I liked—informed me it cost an extra 2,000 yen. I agreed, but it deeply annoyed me When checking out, I quietly explained that charging for a single hour felt like poor corporate goodwill. She simply repeated it was "the rule" and asked me to speak to her superior. I did so only to make her happy, as she was a nice person. A gentleman in a face mask came out. He simply reiterated, "Those are the rules." It was a cold interaction. The 2,000 yen meant nothing to me—it was the entirely generic, uncaring feeling that hurt. A good manager would have reviewed my account and seen I paid for a two-person room and two breakfasts for my entire stay, yet utilized as a single guest.
