    This was the best place we stayed in Kyoto - truly exceptional from start to finish.

    Amazing space. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Plus quality touches throughout - like wonderful soaps and toiletries. The Japanese breakfast was exceptional - the best we had in Japan. And the staff were all lovely and exceedingly helpful.

    Yoko was extremely helpful in giving us tips on our stay in Kyoto and was very flexible in our needs.

    This is a beautiful small location that is an oasis from the city. Very clean, well appointed and traditional ryokan

    the perfect place for a first trip in Kyoto

    Absolutely loved my stay here! The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and intimate, with a lovely traditional Japanese atmosphere : tatami mats, a real futon and a beautiful garden. The location is also very convenient, with bus stops and metro stations nearby. But above all, the staff were absolutely wonderful: incredibly kind, attentive and thoughtful. They truly made us feel welcome and cared for. The Japanese breakfast was also exquisite! I 100% recommend this hotel if you’re looking for an authentic Japanese experience while still being comfortable. A truly lovely stay in Kyoto!
