    Beautiful and friendly place to stay

    Lavender barn was absolutely charming and we were made very welcome by our hosts who had also supplied us with some essential foods including a delicious pot of home jam and marmalade. The gardens outside the cottage were beautiful and it was all very peaceful.

    Friendly hosts, lovely property. Would recommend.

    Barry and Diane were very kind and friendly hosts. Their property is comfortable, homely and well equipped. I will book again if we are working in the area. Would recommend.

    Diane the hostess was lovely and provided a little welcome selection of essentials like bread , milk etc. The homemade blackcurrant jam was really yummy! Garden was really lovely and you can buy flowers too. In a rural village so fairly quiet but not too far to a main road and loads of local attractions near by.

    It was a bit smaller than expected, table to make drinks etc was in the hallway and in a pinch point between the bedroom and bathroom. The terrace wasn't as secluded and just outside our room as expected. Just a few steps away but visible to the hosts and other guests. We live somewhere in a cul-de-sac that has few cars, the barn is along the road that runs through the village, minimal traffic but something the be aware of if you are used to quiet like us.
