  Excellent location

  Excellent location. Very clean. Only slept there so can't really comment on cooking facilities. Beds comfortable and we slept well. Very good shower although the condensation after took a long time to clear. There was an extractor fan but we turned it off when we went out. Other than that it was very good value for what we needed...a two night stay , out all day with friends and family. Just using for somewhere to sleep and shower. The lack of parking wasn't a problem for us as we were out all Saturday. The car park was free Sunday and we used Ringo to pop 2 hours on on Monday. We used the Wathem road one as it was close to the house.

  We read the previous reviews. There are no mirrors apart from the bathroom so we took our own for hairdrying etc so not a problem as forewarned. The main thing that knocked a point off was the lack of anything by the bed to put jewellery, glass of water, glasses etc on . I appreciate the rooms are small but even a small table or chair would help. There were plenty of sockets in our room so we were able to use the window sill to put charging phones and portable mirrors on.

  Provision of a few basics on arrival.

  Lovely tidy place to stay.

  We agreed with the host to stay an extra night , they did what they needed to do at there end which was much appreciated . However booking.com didn't process this reqyest despite messages from myself and the host. . Just to add this was a booking.com problem and not the hosts who have been 1st class throughout.

  Redelijk, we zijn een dag naar Londen geweest en snel weer vertrokken.

  De accommodatie is prachtig, dat wordt ook getoond op de foto's. Wat niet op de foto's wordt getoond is de locatie. Dit is in een heel smal straatje, eigenlijk een steeg, waar veel rotzooi staat en rumoerig is.

  NIET boeken!! De locatie viel erg tegen. Het is vlak achter de hoofdstraat, maar als je de steeg in loopt lijkt het wel of je in een achterbuurt terecht bent gekomen. Je kunt in de buurt parkeren maar je kunt alleen cash betalen of met een app, tja als je dan geen bereik hebt dan moet je toch even 10 pond per dag aan muntjes zien te scoren. Verder was het keukengerei minimaal / slecht. Een koekenpannetje waar je 1 hamburger in kunt bakken en een klein steelpannetje, voor de rest 4 kopjes, 4 messen, 4 vorken, etc. het voldoet, maar iets meer is wel prettiger. Hoewel het in de omschrijving staat, moet je na de boeking borg betalen, een foto van je identiteitsbewijs uploaden en een huurovereenkomst tekenen, waarin je als huurder vogelvrij wordt verklaard. Er staan allerlei boetes in als je iets verkeerd doet, maar wat als de verhuurder in gebreke blijft? Daar wordt niets over vermeld. Als je bovenstaande drie dingen hebt gedaan, krijg je een code waarmee je de sleutel bij een winkel om de hoek kunt ophalen. Wel een beetje lastig als je laat aankomt of vroeg wil vertrekken.
