    The apartment is lovely and close to a park that my kids loved. The backyard was also nice for them to play in. The apartment is cozy and we had everything we needed. It’s about a 10-12 minute walk to Downtown Reykjavik.

    In spite of being in a basement, the apartment has large windows giving on a garden lawn, you do not have the impression of being underground. Nice artwork and maps decorating the apartment, good selection of books in the spacious living room. Clean and quite well-furnished American kitchen. It was always possible to park the car nearby for free, although not in front of the house. Good location, city centre within 15-20 minute walk, public bus connection nearby to reach the harbour area which is a bit further on.

    In the bathroom there is the empty space for a missing washing machine and dryer, with the connecting tubes and cables. It would take little effort from the owners to equip the bathroom with these appliances, quite essential for a longer stay. There are no laundromats nearby (only 3 in the entire town) and parking at the laundromats is not obvious at all and you have pay for parking too.
