I added the drainage problem and strengthened the hygiene and safety concerns: The bathroom and toilet are shared for three rooms (6 poeple). This would not necessarily be a problem if the shared areas were cleaned and maintained properly and travellers are informed; however, they were not clean when we arrived. The accommodation consists of three rooms located one floor below ground level, meaning that guests must walk down a flight of stairs. This should be clearly stated in the property description, particularly for guests with heavy luggage, mobility difficulties, or other physical limitations. More seriously, several tiles on the stairs were broken, loose, or completely detached. Because they were difficult to see when walking down the stairs from above, I twisted my ankle upon arrival and continued to experience pain afterward. We reported the problem during our stay, but no action was taken to repair it. At the very least, the detached tiles could have been removed temporarily to reduce the risk of further accidents. I have attached photographs showing the condition of the stairs. The stair lighting switches on automatically, but only after a delay, which makes the stairs even more dangerous, particularly when arriving in an unfamiliar place. The bathroom also had a significant drainage problem. The water did not drain properly during use and accumulated heavily on the floor. This was both unpleasant and unhygienic and also created an additional risk of slipping. A bathroom used by several guests should have a properly functioning drainage system and should be checked and cleaned regularly. There were also several areas of mould in the rooms, bathroom, and toilet, which raises serious health and hygiene concerns. Our impression was that only the most visible surfaces were cleaned, while less visible areas were neglected. The kitchen cabinets were also heavily stained and did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned for a long time.
