Clean, modern and stylish in a great location
A spotlessly clean, well appointed, modern and stylish apartment. It's located very centrally and very conveniently on one of the most attractive streets in Rome and is easily and cheaply reached from Roma Termini station by public bus (the Number 40 to the Ponte Vittorio Emanuele stop is the quickest). For sightseeing, it's a short walk to Piazza Navona and not much longer to the Vatican, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. The Colosseum and Spanish Steps are a manageable 30 minutes if you would prefer to wander rather than use the buses. The area is a mostly pedestrianised and attractive part of the historic centre plus there is a friendly café with pavement seating right on the corner for breakfast, lunchtime snacks and evening drinks. If ice cream is your thing, the Gelateria del Teatro a hundred metres or so up the street is not to be missed. Aside from that, the lively streets around here are thick with bars and eateries. Basically, it's a perfect area to stay in for visitors to Rome but bear in mind that this also means it's not a quiet area so there will be a bit of noise. The host is very helpful and the property is very suited to singles and couples for both short and longer stays. I'd have no hesitation at all to stay here again.
It's a bit pricey but that's Rome for you. Aside from that, some net curtains for the window would make it a little more private without having to use the shutters. Also, the TV has been fixed on the wall at a bit of an angle and needs straightening.
