    We recently stayed at this property and, while the house itself was lovely and the host was very communicative, professional, and friendly throughout, there were a few issues that affected our stay.The main concern was cleanliness. Although the property appeared tidy at first glance, the floors did not seem to have been cleaned thoroughly, and walking barefoot left our feet noticeably dirty. We also noticed a damp smell, particularly when opening cupboards, and there appeared to be signs of damp beneath the lino flooring in the kitchen.As someone with respiratory sensitivities, I experienced chest discomfort and coughing during and after the stay, which I felt may have been related to the dampness in the property. While I cannot say this with certainty, it is something that may be worth investigating, especially for guests with asthma, allergies, or young children.The host was helpful and welcoming, which makes leaving this feedback difficult, but I feel it is important to provide an honest account of our experience. With improved cleaning and attention to the damp issue, this could be a very enjoyable place to stay.
