    A special stay by the river

    This was such a special place to stay in Caldas de Reis while doing the Camino. The lovely gentleman who welcomed us (I believe he may be the owner) kindly came to pick us up from Caldas when we arrived on foot, as the property is about a 30-minute walk away. This was such a thoughtful gesture, and we really appreciated it after a day of walking. It is a beautiful old stone house with a river just behind the property. We had a refreshing swim in the river in the evening, which was absolutely amazing and such a memorable part of our stay. The whole house is very charming, peaceful and full of character. We only stayed for one night, but we found it a lovely place to rest and would happily stay again. A very special little place and a wonderful stop during the Camino.

    L'emplacement est idéal, une maison en pleine nature, au calme. Une rivière qui passe au pied de la maison qui a de grandes baies vitrées pour admirer ce spectacle. Les espaces extérieurs sont vraiment agréables pour se détendre. Tout est très propre, la maison est bien équipée et propose beaucoup de chambres avec vue sur ce cadre exceptionnel.

    Juste signaler aux familles que la baignade dans la rivière est très très glissante et demande précaution et vigilance.
