  A beautiful and relaxing place to stay

  We loved staying at this flat. It had amazing views…even better than the pictures. There are 2 porches that had great views. Everything inside the house is high quality. There are 2 lofts which were perfect places for our kids to sleep.

  Everything was wonderful, nothing negative.

  Appartement exceptionnel à Monemvasia

  Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet appartement, les qualités de finitions intérieurs et extérieurs étaient très appréciables (beaux matériaux, climatisation). La vue était exceptionnelle. Concernant les hôtes, nous avons été accueillis par Mara qui a été d'une gentillesse et d'une disponibilité incroyable pendant tout notre séjour. Nous n'avons jamais eu de contact aussi fluide de tous nos séjours à l'étranger. Nous avions 2 véhicules, nous avons pu nous garer facilement au pied de l'appartement (places réservées). Pour l'emplacement, l'appartement se trouve à 5min à pied d'une plage et des commerces (boutiques, bars, restaurants, port), à 25 min à pieds de l'entrée du village de Monemvasia (possibilité de se rapprocher en voiture).

  Globalement, nous avons tout apprécié. Le seul petit bémol est l'accessibilité de la seconde chambre lit double, ainsi que son matelas au sol. Pour 6 adultes, la lave-vaisselle est un peu petit (à faire tourner à chaque repas) et la salle de bain un peu étroite. Mais pour un séjour cela reste faisable.

  Good place but over rated

  The apartment has a nice, spacious terrace with a sea view. It was well-stocked with cold water and some food for breakfast.

  The apartment is definitely over rated. It is clear that the owners lived there until recently, as it is cluttered with items unnecessary for guests, such as numerous souvenirs and books in Greek. These items take up so much space that we as guests did not have enough empty shelves to arrange our own belongings. Two of the four bedrooms are attic spaces— narrow, very small, and with low ceilings; you cannot move around freely while standing upright. Cleanliness was also poor—the kitchen cabinets and the cooker hood were sticky The hobs were very weak, and we couldn't prepare our food. The apartment has only one bathroom, which is small and super unconfortable. The shower was broken and my husband needed to fix it somehow as we could not take shower properly. The internet connection is so poor that it might as well not exist. Furthermore, the apartment is located right next to a church where noisy services, complete with bells took place every morning, waking us up early while we are on holiday.
