Low key get away with wonderful amenities
We stayed in a 1-bedroom cottage suite on the river. The cottage and view were lovely and we had deer outside our cottage a couple of evenings. The cottage included two bike which was nice to go get coffee and pastries at buzz in the mornings and then bike the trail around the property. Due to the heat and humidity especially in the afternoon and evening we called for golf cart service for dinner reservations. Food at all the places we tried (Octagon and Buffalo’s) was excellent as well as the ice cream shop and coffee place.

A Perfect Family Getaway
Lovely low country resort with so many great activities and amazing accommodations. Rooms at the large Inn or homes on the property provide lots of options for couples or larger groups. Every activity from bike riding, boating, archery, clay shooting, golf, tennis, horseback rides, and spa services - there is something for everyone!

Amazing Property, Awesome Staff!
The overall property and staff deserve 5 stars. We ate on the property both nights, and the food was delicious. The hotel provides free bikes and we used them during our entire stay, such a cool way to get around the property. I would highly recommend The Montage at Palmetto Bluff.

Overall good experience
Overall great experience. Beautiful property. Lots to do. Nice accommodations. Recommendation for anyone going if they tell you that you were upgraded to a cottage turn it down. The room might be a little nicer, but the inconvenience of getting to the Inn wasn’t worth it. They have a terrible golf cart. Shuttle service, which they will tell you that they will come pick you up, but they never show up. We were very frustrated with this and annoyed when we had a dinner reservation and no one was there to pick us up even when we called 45 minutes in advance. Happened multiple times. Other than that golf course is beautiful. It’s a really neat place to visit and we would still recommend it.
