Un séjour des plus agréables avec une hôte plus que parfaite.
Dora est une hôte exceptionnelle. Nous avons été bien accueillies, elle nous a donné beaucoup d’informations sur ce qu’il y a à voir et à faire à Obidos. Elle nous a offert de délicieux biscuits et ka Ginjinha fabriquée par son beau-père. La maison est parfaite, propre avec tout ce dont on a besoin. Comme Dora et son mari habitent à côté, elle est toujours disponible pour répondre à nos besoins. Et elle parle très bien français.

Óbidos was the wonderful surprise of our holiday! We spent almost three weeks travelling around Portugal, and this little town charmed us much more than we had expected. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful people and welcomed us with such warmth. Tiago gave us so much useful information that he felt like our own personal tour guide, explaining what to see and do in Óbidos, where to eat, and which places were worth discovering. He had even prepared a map in English with recommendations for the best sights, restaurants, cafés and shopping spots. It was such a thoughtful touch and incredibly helpful. The house is just a few minutes away from the castle and the historic centre, so the location is excellent. The house itself is beautiful, cosy and intimate, and equipped with everything you might need. We were travelling as a family and felt completely at home here — we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Óbidos was already a special discovery for us, but the warmth of our hosts made the experience even more memorable. Thank you for making us feel so welcome! Just something worth knowing: there is no actual door between the main bedroom and the bedroom in the attic — they are essentially separated by the different floors. This wasn’t an issue for us at all, as we were travelling as a family, but it might be useful to know for guests travelling with friends or for anyone who prefers complete privacy between bedrooms.
