    A lovely, very clean property with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. The owners had thoughtfully left some milk and biscuits. The ground floor is open plan with very comfortable furniture and a great size TV. There is air conditioning which was useful as we were there in another of the heatwaves. The main bedroom is a great size with plenty of storage. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had the best 5 nights sleep in a long time. The second bedroom is compact but does the job. There is a small patio area which was lovely to sit out on to read my book and watch the horse in the field behind the property. Off site parking was very welcome. It is very well placed for visiting Bambrugh and Alnwick Castles.

    What a great place to stay!

    Moonstone was very clean and comfortable and had everything you could want or need from a holiday property. It was a lovely touch to have milk, tea, coffee and biscuits ready to greet us when we arrived. The information pack was well compiled and all the instructions were very useful and clear. Off street private parking space was a bonus. The location was great, it was very easy to visit the surrounding area and it was very calm and peaceful.All in all, Moonstone is an excellent place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday!

    Everything there you would need. Quiet location. Not far from other places. Looks out over a field with a horse and rabbits. I think lot of the houses are holiday lets

    A little bit too far for me to walk to the beach etc. although it would probably not be a problem for someone more able. But I guessed that from the write ups
