Lovely staff, great location, slightly tired rooms

The staff are very helpful and friendly, particularly in the bar, which is also an attractive space. The location is great, and the main building has character and old-worlde charm.

The rooms are a bit tired and our first room did not have any hot water (they quickly moved us to another room). However, this one had a bed with a mattress that felt old, and the radiator in the shower leaked… the place just needs some maintenance to keep it in shape. I know that isn’t easy in these difficult times, but it could be so much nicer with a bit of work.

I would stay at the Mosborough again and recommend -I would just look into it more.

The room was on the ground floor….it was clean and good enough I guess for a night. The bed was comfy and the staff were very helpful. It was a quiet room. I was attending my sister’s funeral so booked last minute, if I came back I would look into rooms more..

The room was very dark in the morning and the day was not probably due to the brick walls outside. The bathroom shower head set up was very powerful -ok for me but it couldn’t be changed. Concerns here were that the bath was slippery for getting in and out and the water went everywhere.

Enjoyable stay, we will be back soon!

I liked that the hotel garden/grounds were suitable and equipped for a dog staying at the hotel.

I would have liked a fridge in the room especially as travelling with a dog (i.e to store dog food).
