Authentic ryokan experience
Authentic ryokan experience. The owners are extremely kind and the property is beautiful. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were delicious (Japanese meals) and the experience was unforgettable. Highly recommended if you want a small ryokan with old vibes in a warm and cozy environment. Bring your sweatshirt because it might get a little bit cold!

Magical
The staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The room is spaceous and gorgeous. The building itself feels truly magical with a minimuseum, shrine, garden and local art. The different hot spring baths were very nice as well as the cold plunge bath for afterward. They also have a footmassager to rest your tired feet after traveling.
I’d recommend minimum 2 nights not just 1 to really slow down and embrace the full ryokan experience.
