    Exceptional once in a lifetime experience

    Exceptionally beautiful location with a lovely terrace right on the river. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the views. A centerpiece of the town with a number of nearby restaurants. But of course, everyone staying should reserve at the on-site Michelin starred restaurant (may be going for its second star!) with beautifully conceptualized food and excellent service. The wine selections are particularly outstanding with some very nice local Bergerac choices. The breakfasts are worth the price, which is not that much more than other hotels and way more beautifully served and delicious than the standard buffet. Staff are uniformly welcoming and helpful - they genuinely want you to enjoy yourself. Special shout out to the sommelier and the woman in charge of breakfast - although everyone is great.

    Restaurant ferme lundi et mardi donc pas de possibilité de se restaurer pour un 4 étoiles ce n’est pas normal

    Breakfasting by the river is so hard to beat that had gruel been the only dish for our meal it still would have been one of the best ever
