  Won’t be returning to this property

  The property is all the way back in the woods. It’s quiet but still not far from town.

  Like others have said, the bottom piece of the fireplace (corners) are right in the way. There should be some form of bumper or rounded corner. Everyone tripped multiple times. I will say I was a little disappointed overall. When we got there we noticed that a majority of the patio furniture was broken which was kind of a disappointment because there were 6 of us and there was only a few chairs and they were broken. Next we noticed that the cabinet under the sink had mouse droppings, along with the drawers in the master bedroom, which I understand but I would think the cleaners would at least wipe them out. Also we had to bring our own coffee maker because this one still had a filter and used coffee grounds…no clue how long that was there. Also, there were items left behind from the previous guests like shampoo, conditioner, a razor, and a toothbrush, which just made me feel like the place wasn’t properly cleaned. It was nice that there was a hot tub, but it was visibly dirty yet smelled like bleach so we ran it and used it figuring it was just sediment of sitting. The next day the hot tub just smelled like dirty laundry and continued to smell this way until our trip was over. Just put a damper on what we wanted to do. One more thing, they messaged us asking how many people were coming (we told them 6) and they didn’t leave us enough towels or comforters. Took them til the next day to send them. But we never got extra towels. My concerns seemed to be brushed to the side, nothing was offered to compensate for all the inconvenience, overall just not too happy with this place. You live and you learn

  Mountainside cabin adventures

  Location, privacy and rustic feel of the beautiful mountains. Bed was comfy. Good communication by property management company before and while staying. Hot tub was nice. FYI new neighbors on the other side of hot tub in near future. A cabin is being built. A private curtain will be needed. Not too far from sightseeing adventures.

  Kayaks were presented as a plus on the website, which was one of the reasons we booked the cabin, BUT you have very poor access to the river, AND you aren't informed that you must have a plan for drop off and pickup. If you have a family and they don't all want to go Kayaking that works but when it's two people it doesn't work at all. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED 😞 The cabin inside was clean, the fireplace platform right inside the front door is dangerous to your feet. Within 10 mins of being there my husband smacked is feet off of twice. I had to block the sides with a cooler and laundry basket. The deck has too much furniture on it and not enough space to walk back to the hot tub. The upkeep to the property outside was disappointing. The fire pit needs some upkeep as well as the furniture surrounding it. Flowers that look like weeds need desperate attention . The grill needs some love. Both trash bins were overflowing with trash. It seemed like there was well over a month's worth of trash in both of them. The driveway needs to be regraded. Do not try bringing a low bottom car it may end up terrible. Housekeeping and maintenance needs to make some improvements.

  This was a great place to get away from the stress and really decompress

  The property was great with some amazing views and very secluded

  The only thing we didn’t like is the sofa and the beds were uncomfortable

  We loved it! A quiet retreat.

  We love the quiet. The views from the porch. The river nearby (and access to water flotation devices). The ease to drive downtown once we knew it was basically 2 turns ;) But everything was easy to find and it's obvious that a lot of care went into the space.

  We kept stubbing our toes on the wood stove platform lol. Maybe add some kind of protective corners? Or a different color than the floor?
