Great place to stay, and can't beat the hospitality of our host Mr. Gabbard.
Enjoyed the morning coffee (breakfast not included). The cabin was incredible! The construction/craftmanship of the building was beautiful, from the exterior logs to the stone fireplace, cathedral ceiling, loft, and hardwood floors. KItchen had every imaginable tool. But the best was the crazy amount of antiques and curiosities all over, placed with great care and imagination. We liked the location as a base for several days of scenic backroad rides on our motorcycle. This area of Kentucky is amazing.
Queen bed was a bit small for two people.

Oh we love the cabin I got an ant that wants the number right now she wants to come down there I got lots of family that wants to come and stay there now you may get a lot of customers from us
The plastics on the bed made me sweat a lot that's the only thing I can complain about

Charming.
We liked the location, the sounds of the roosters crowing in the morning, watching the horses graze in the field next to the cabin, sitting in the swings feeling the cool breeze on the porch. Melvin was so helpful and pleasant to us during our stay, telling us the history of the cabin and taking us for rides in his ATV around the area. Needless to say we had and wonderful time during our stay at "Precious Mountain Memories". We highly recommend this cabin for those seeking a quiet escape.
