    Good lodge for an overnight stay before flying out of Lukla

    It's one minute walk from Lukla Airport, as described in the property listing. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

    The room was okay, but the tap in the sink was broken. It was necessary to turn the water on and off using the inlet valve underneath the sink, which wasn't very convenient.

    Decent economy hotel. A simple room and decent food. Good for one night.

    You clearly need to look at it from the EBC trail context - these would clearly not be amazing facilities down in the city, even in Nepal. But after ~20 nights in tea houses of various quality, this one was definitely okay. It wasn't cold in the room (due to the lower altitude, clearly), and the airport was really right next door.

    No warm water included in room price. It was allegedly available as an upsell - we didn't try. Room was really small and resembled of a ship cabin a bit, but it was fine.
