  Luxury pricing without luxury standards. At $500 per night, this cabin was a major disappointment and absolutely did not

  The location and the opportunity to spend time away with family were the most enjoyable aspects of our stay. Unfortunately, the positive aspects of the property were overshadowed by the disappointing condition and overall quality of the accommodations.

  For approximately $500 per night, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall quality. Unfortunately, the property fell significantly short of those expectations. The condition of the cabin was disappointing, particularly considering the premium price being charged. The issues I documented in photographs reflected a lack of attention to detail and proper upkeep. These were not the standards I would expect from a property marketed and priced as a premium vacation rental. What made the experience particularly frustrating was the poor value for the money. When guests are paying this much per night, they should not have to overlook obvious maintenance and quality concerns. Our stay was approximately 36 hours, and instead of simply enjoying our getaway, I found myself disappointed by accommodations that did not justify their cost. Overall, the property needs significant improvements in maintenance, cleanliness, and quality control before charging rates comparable to genuinely upscale accommodations.

  Very disappointed

  The view of the Smoky Mountains was nice.

  When we arrived, the cabin was dirty with brown smears on the walls, windows were very dirty. The sheets and mattress pad all were soiled. Air conditioning took several hours to cool cabin. In several rooms there were places of paint peeled off wall. Near the downstairs bathroom the floor was very weak. Floors were dirty. Upstairs the ceiling fan could not be used for fear of it falling. In the other bedroom a picture fell off wall while one of us was lying in bed. Luckily it did not hit her but scared all of us enough to move bed out away from wall. Was told by company that they unfortunately could not send someone to clean that night and did not have anyone to bring clean sheets. They eventually after much frustration purchased sheets from target and had them delivered. Having paid $2200 for our stay and told that we could not arrive until 4 pm because the “cleaning crew was there” and then to walk in to a disaster was heartbreaking. I requested a refund and was only offered $257. I would not recommend this place.
