    Very bad and unacceptable living conditions

    Only the location. The accommodation service was materially not as described and was not provided at an acceptable hygienic standard.

    When my wife and I arrived at the property, we found that the accommodation was extremely dirty and had a strong, repulsive smell. Its actual condition was substantially different from what was presented on Booking.com and it was not reasonably suitable for accommodation. Due to these unacceptable conditions, we could not stay at the property and had to seek alternative accommodation after we announced Booking and talked to the landlord. Even if we immediately contacted both the property owner and Booking.com, reported the problems and requested a penalty-free cancellation and a full refund, we didn't receive anything, except a bonus from Booking we didn't accept it. The apartment owner and Booking refused to refund our money.
