Surbubian Quite and Proximity to the City
This is a great property, especially for those going to Unisa or other parts of the Pretoria CBD. It's about a 5-minute walk from the Unisa main gate. It's in the suburbs, which gives us proximity to the city and the quiet of suburban Pretoria. Breakfast was great, served by two meticulous ladies who made sure we got exactly what we needed. I also appreciated the garden, which is well kept and makes you feel like a visitor to a private residence. I heard people recommending the coffee.
The host needs to communicate the rules clearly before guests arrive. Something like a short SMS or email that tells you what to do when you get there, and that no guests will be permitted after 21:00. After booking, I never received any communication from the host, only to discover that guests would not be admitted after 21:00 unless they had made prior arrangements. I am sure these rules could be there on the host's profile on Booking.com, but I didn't see them. So, I would have appreciated a reminder from the host. However, the host was gracious enough to allow us in even though we arrived after 10 pm.
