Needs a little money spent on it. Lovely room but the curtains had holes and the pillows were rubbish! Beautiful locatio
The location and very quiet. The evening meal was amazing.
The breakfast was poor. In 2026 I would expect a coffee machine or at least be able to upgrade to a coffee latte. Ingredients should be locally sourced ie yogurt.

Great, well trained staff, warm rooms, nice decor, beautiful old building, where it was situated.
Breakfast was fine but some seeds, nuts to go in the yoghurt would have been a nice touch and porridge - good porridge made with salt - would be a great addition. .

Good room with comfortable bed, but areas of hotel need maintenance and food disappointing and very limited.
Clean large room with comfortable bed. Grounds lovely, especially the highland cows.
Parts of the hotel need maintenance eg ceiling in restaurant. The breakfast was basic but good. However, the menu for dinner in the evening was extremely limited, overpriced and disappointing. It was also not consistent and some items were cold and had to be sent back. As a result we only fined on two of our seven nights.
