    A wonderful place and local tavern - can’

    I visited the property as it was close to the soccer stadium. The room was incredible. I stayed in the golden room. The decor, furniture, bathroom and kitchen were fantastic quality. The owner was really helpful and helped with a few things like dinner and taxis. The family run the wonderful adjacent taverna on the beach a few metres away. The food is incredible.Be aware the portions are huge and some free desert and raki as well. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped with bag due to my late flight. The room itself was fantastic. Tue beach was a few metres away. All in all a great place on the outskirts of town Please look after the lovely kittens who stop by and get some extra food to help them .

    The property itself was amazing and cannot be faulted. Be aware access to keys is via the boxes outside. Also you are a bit out of town - it’s about a 30 min walk into the centre along the beach. It was a shame there wasn’t a breakfast option close by or at the tavern. I would have happily paid for that. These are minot points of bore and not in any way a critic. The place is wonderful.

    A wonderful stay in a spacious, clean apartment with a lovely host, great location near the sea, and everything we neede

    We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment in Heraklion and would highly recommend it! We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our experience. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It also had air conditioning, which was much appreciated, and private parking included, which was a great convenience. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. She even left us two bottles of water and two slices of delicious chocolate cake, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch! ❤️ The location was perfect for us. It’s about a 10 minute drive from Heraklion city center and only 2 minutes from the sea, which we absolutely loved. There is also a beautiful organized beach just a 5-minute walk along the beach from the apartment. Another great advantage is the taverna just 2 minutes away, which is also owned by the same hosts. The food was delicious, with very generous portions, and we really enjoyed eating there. Overall, we had a lovely stay and felt very welcomed. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Heraklion! Thank you for everything!
