    Good property and helpful staff, but the non-functioning lift significantly impacted our stay

    The apartment was clean, spacious, and in a good location. The staff were polite, responsive, and genuinely tried to help throughout our stay by staying in touch and offering solutions.

    The biggest issue was that the lift was out of service for our entire stay. We had specifically booked this property expecting lift access, and traveling with elderly parents made climbing three flights of stairs every day extremely difficult. We were offered a first-floor apartment, but only later found out it was around 20 minutes away, which wasn’t practical for us. While the staff did their best, the issue was never resolved, and what should have been a relaxing holiday turned into a daily hassle.

    Comfortable stay in amazing location; just needs a few extra touches

    The location is terrific! Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and Liverpool Street Station is a short walk that gives you access to almost all other parts of London and beyond. We loved the neighborhood feel, away from the tourist areas. The flat itself is very nice, particularly the walk-in shower and the comfortable beds. There is a lift to the 3rd floor, but note there are a couple of stairs into the building plus the flat is 2 stories with both bedrooms upstairs. The host company was very responsive and easy to contact and immediately sent out a repairman to fix the washer upon request.

    The flat could use just a few upgrades to really make it shine. Some of the bedroom blinds are broken - not an issue in the winter but would make sleep challenging in the lighter months. The kitchen only had one towel and the downstairs bath had none. The living room would benefit from a small armchair or sitting chair, especially as the couch is a bit low and small for multiple people.

    Not received a refund of £500

    Location

    2 months after my stay in the apartment I still have not received a refund of £500. Completely unacceptable. The lift did not work during our entire stay and we had to climb 50 stairs every day to get to the apartment. The blinds do not protect against sunlight, so at 6am there is a lot of light in the room, ruining your rest. I do not recommend this apartment to anyone
