I liked most things in the hotel, but getting to rooms was difficult to do as I have a hip operation in the near future so the stairs, were not exactly easy for me, and others in my party.

Locating to rooms difficult as I explained in previous box.I realise that lifts are not an option in buildings of the age of this hotel.and it may stop me from booking again, but there were other things that I would miss by not booking another trip.

Enjoyable stay at well presented place with great food

Nicely decorated, great food, great location

Absurdly slippery bathroom floor. Very smooth tiles and not totally level - when wet it was like an ice rink

    Spacious room. Great food.

Choice of table in restaurant Breakfast service slow. Would be better with a cereal, juice and cold items self service bar
