An affordable apartment with friendly hosts.
An affordable apartment with friendly hosts. I originally booked an apartment for two, looking for a cheaper option. At the last minute, two friends joined us. The hosts kindly agreed to accommodate four of us for a small additional fee. In reality, the apartment comfortably sleeps five. Trere are two single beds in one bedroom. The other bedroom has a single bed and a king-size bed. My girlfriend and I shared a king-size bed, leaving one bed available. All the beds were comfortable, with old but high-quality mattresses. I asked the host why Booking.com only allows apartments for four people, but not for five. He replied that he wanted the apartment to be comfortable enough for everyone, and that five would be a bit cramped, especially in the kitchen. They do allow five people to stay for a small additional fee, but they warn that guests will experience some discomfort. Perhaps next time we'll come with a group of five.

A very convenient location for visiting Laško by car. The apartment is on the ground floor of an old private house, with free parking right at the entrance. There's also free parking at the thermal park, near the castle, and not far from the center. We wanted to explore Celje in the morning and weren't sure of our exact arrival time. The hosts offered to leave the key in the safe and allowed us to arrive at any time. We sent photos of our ID cards and received the code for the safe. So, we didn't even see the hosts. Nevertheless, we found everything we needed in the apartment, and our questions were answered via WhatsApp. If we return to Laško, we'll definitely stay here.
